About Me
Recovering academic librarian back to CS roots. I am currently working at Penn's Annenberg Public Policy Center and am on the info science side of data analysis. Prior to this, in my convoluted career path I ended up getting into a non-Western-language language technology niche (and am into NLP in general since getting my first taste learning it and Python in an undergrad course in 2002). I'd love to apply my extra-ASCII expertise to a project expanding access to info and services for my nearby Philly neighbors who speak languages like Chinese, Indonesian, Cambodian, Vietnamese, Spanish, and more.
