About Me
Winnie's Profile Hi Everyone! I'm happy to be here and looking forward to meeting everyone. I work as a requirements analyst and agile coach for a software development team supporting CECOM US Army. Our team develops business process automation and business intelligence applications to support the command leadership. As an RA I spend my time in the following activities: • Meeting with users clarifying and gathering requirements • Writing user stories • Developing process diagrams • Validating and building data dictionaries • Designing UI wire frames During the requirements phase we work iteratively with our client and users to confirm expectations and refine the software design. Using this process, we can set a pace that will carry through the development process and deliver software that meets user expectations. Our team uses a Kanban process while working in three or four week sprints depending on the tasks and workload to get to done. As the team’s Agile Coach I have the following responsibilities: • Schedule and facilitate daily, planning, review and retrospective meetings • Work with product owner to groom the backlog and establish priorities • Organize epics, features and stories in Microsoft Team Services (formerly Team Foundation Services) • Track blockers and facilitate resolution I am learning HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, because it will help me as an RA and Agile Coach and I want to add the skills to my list of competencies. Once I am comfortable with front end development I want to learn Python. Causes I am interested in are LGBTQ issues and advocacy, education, healthcare access, wellness and health, and economic development. I firmly believe with education and healthcare all things are possible for people to achieve and without these things nothing is really possible.
