I’m very excited to introduce two new members of the Code for Philly Organizing Team. This week, Alex Webster and Dante DeNault are joining us as Communications Co-Leads, transitioning from Sophia Ezomoghene, our past Communications Lead. I want to sincerely thank Sophia for expertly and creatively managing our social media for over the last year.

Read on below for quick bios from both Alex and Dante. Whether its at our next event or somewhere online, please say hello!

I’ve always loved solving problems and improving systems, and I’m drawn to communications because it has plenty of opportunities for both. I’m looking forward to using my background in marketing communications, research, experience design, and technical writing to support initiatives that engage and excite CfP members.

I currently work in product design and management at an investment firm in the ‘burbs, where I develop digital training for financial services applications. In my spare time you can find me in the kitchen/lab (I’m an amateur mad food scientist), trying to solve the FiveThirtyEight Riddlers, spinning, or looking for my new favorite short story.

I graduated from Ithaca College with a bachelor’s in Communication Management and Design and a minor in Sociology. Originally from Latham, New York, I’m proud to call Powelton Village home. As the Comms. Co-Lead for Code for Philly, I’m excited to integrate my passions for civic engagement and volunteerism to enact equitable and sustainable change at the local level via technology and design.
